Welcome to Granite Hills Farm
Granite Hills Farm is a registered Virginia Century Farm in Fluvanna County and has been continually operated in the Loving family since 1856.
We raise purebred Polled Hereford cattle from the same bloodline introduced to the farm in the early 1920’s by Thomas Joseph (Tommy Jo) Loving.
Today the farm is owned by Thomas Joel Loving (Joel, grandson of Tommy Jo) and managed by Nick Gianakos (step son of Joel).

Bull and heifer calves are sold off the farm at 10-11 months old, typically in August and September of each year. Steers are available for purchase as grass fed beef at approximately 2 years of age, by special order.
Orchard grass and fescue mix hay, in both 5’ round bales as well as small square bales, is sold year round. We also host outdoor special events such as weddings, reunions, retirement and graduation parties, or simple get-togethers of old friends. Granite Hills offers a picturesque farm atmosphere for your most memorable occasions.
